LP cover from the Chicago Gangsters’, Gangster Love, c.1976.

The group had a huge hit off this album with "Gangster Boogie", which has been widely sampled on numerous hip-hop and rap albums, including L.L. Cool J’s, “Mama Said Knock You Out”.

Most people say that the Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, etc. is the most intense show, but the fourth season of The Wire stands above them all.

The Red Wedding is nothing compared to seeing kids in their early teens being fucked for the rest of their lives by underfunded, under-performing, and uncaring institutions.

But the whole time it wasnt the schools that failed them. It was their parents who failed them long before that.

Dukie and Mike were the sons of drug addicts which forced Dukie to become one and made Mike had to find a way to take care of his little brother.

Randy’s parents (Cheese and Prop Joe’s family) abandoned him forcing him into the foster care of Ms Anna

Namond’s mom literally forced him onto the corner.
